Nutrition consulting included a busy private practice, facilitating group workshops and running online courses. Delivered nutrition services in partnership with wellness enterprises and developed content for lifestyle publications.
Owner & Manager
2012
Took part ownership of Healthy Meal Plan (Bank Street). Successfully transitioned clients and 10 employees through a rebrand (to Vittle). In-house development of an application that streamlined highly variable custom ordering for existing and new clients. Sold ownership shares in 2018 to better position myself for a career within ICT design. Vittle continues to experience sustained success.
Partnered with two entrepreneurs to launch Six Cold Press at Slater/Bank (downtown Ottawa). Served cold-pressed juice and detox regimes. After a year of operations, we sold Six to a local enterprise that grew it to a restaurant in the Byward Market in 2016.
Launched a successful Kickstarter for The Homemaker. Commercial food products and private label production for larger enterprises. Sold in local markets, Farmboy, Wholefoods, and independent grocers.
